MyOme is looking for a world-class machine learning scientist to join us on our mission to help people maximize the value of their genomic information. You will report to the head of research and development utilizing a world-class computational R&D environment to build cutting edge models predicting disease risk from whole genome sequence data.
You will lead efforts to build machine learning models that predict disease from whole genome sequence data
Work with our excellent engineering team in deploying ML models that help patients get the most from their genetic data
Contribute to a supportive atmosphere of collective learning and development.

A PhD is strongly encouraged, but If you have exceptional applied experience and can do the work well and humbly, we want to talk
Expertise in the theory and practice of building deep neural networks, preferably on large genetic datasets
Experience with PyTorch, JAX, TensorFlow or equivalent machine learning framework.
Ability to communicate complex concepts to people outside of your field
Ability to thrive in a nimble start-up environment with changing priorities.
Background in statistical genetics a plus
